Really Reasonable Ribbon November Blog Hop

Welcome, folks!  This is my first blog hop with Really Reasonable Ribbon as a member of their Design Team, so I’m extra excited to have some new visitors here!  Are y’all gettin’ in the holiday spirit?  I’ve been crafting a ton of holiday projects and have made a good dent in the Christmas cardmaking endeavor as well.

While I gravitate towards the comforts of vintage, shabby, and love to get inky with mixed media, I learned my lesson last Christmas NOT to make my cards too intricate.  Last year, this cardmaker shamefully only got out about half the cards she intended because there just wasn’t enough dang time.  So – I’m keeping it simple this year.  Today I have three projects to share with you that use ribbon from November’s Ribbon Assortment at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The first uses kraft cardstock + white pigment ink – one of my all time fave combinations!

Love the sheen of this satin.

My second project uses another beloved color scheme – red, white, and black. Always elegant.

Sometimes I enjoy wrapping cards with ribbon for an “obi” effect.  Here it reminds me of a cumberbun 🙂

If you’ve been on my site before, you’ll recognize the project below.  This off the page projectuses this month’s assortment and wrote about it a few posts back here.

I love upcycling these Altoids tins!

FYI, if you’re curious, all stamps are Hampton Art. Thanks for stopping by, folks!  Hope you enjoyed the inspirations and don’t forget to leave a comment!

Your next stop is Misty.  Just in case you get lost, here’s a list of all the stops on the hop.
