Hi folks! This week, the designers from Hampton Art and Cheery Lynn Designs have got inspirational projects to share with you and hope you’ll check them out each day of the hop.
Today I have a card to share with you that uses my beloved Hampton Art stamps and an absolutely beautiful die from Cheery Lynn.
First, I wrapped my card base with an “Antique Gold” Organza from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Once that was done, I stamped the flourishes and sentiment using the Hampton Art SC0274 Holiday Dreams and Wishes Clear Stamp Set with “Potters Clay” Dye Ink from Memento. One pass through my manual die cutting maching with a nice cream cardstock and Cheery Lynn’s DL175 Laced Pine Snowflake gave me this gorgeous snowflake, which I adhered by simply poking a beautiful coordinating brad through the center.
**CRAFTER’S NOTE** A great thing about clear acrylic stamps – with some careful straightening or curving, you can easily alter the shape of a sentiment stamp. This one was already curved. But I “jimmied” it a little to get it to nicely echo the curves of my flourish.
In just a few steps, this card was DONE! Y’all know how I feel about keeping it simple this Christmas!
And of course, what kind of hop would this be without prizes? Every day of the hop, check out the projects from both design teams, leave comments on all the blogs, and you will be entered to win some goodies from both Hampton Art and Cheery Lynn Designs!
Hope you enjoyed! Happy crafting, folks, and see you back here soon!
