Mist up Yo’ Fibuhhhzzz!

Hi friends!

I have a card to share with you today in line with the “Spring Colors and Ribbon” Challenge that starts up today at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

FullShotFirst time using rub ons.  Although that was a bit more rubbing than I enjoy haha, the result was great – beautiful detail on these blooms just starting to open in the spring.

RubOnThese Kaisercraft rub ons came in a recent Scraps of Darkness kit – have I mentioned how great it is to be introduced to new tools through SOD?  So happy to be a part of the team over there.  Look at the dragonfly!!!

ThornsAnd the detailed thorns – looks like a hot and dry climate type of flower and reminds me of the Las Vegas home I dearly miss.  The background was a quick and easy Tim Holtz deal.

RibbonI misted some white seam binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon to get this pretty blue matching embellishment.  White seam binding? A majorly good thing for those on a budget!  Just spritz those suckers up to customize!  I misted with Simply Sheer Tattered Angels mist in Dark Blue.  OK, and look at how it shines in the sun!

RibbonInSunI happen to love the wrinkled, slightly burnt look that results from lightly applying the heat tool to my wet and scrunched up fibers.

Hope y’all had a productive week.  Time to savor the weekend.
