Venturing into Jewelry with Sizzix Vintaj

Oh today’s post is somewhat bittersweet.  After 10 glorious days together, my niece flew back to New York late last night.  I’m so thankful for the time we had, whether it was just chilling together, harvesting produce from the garden, enjoying the sights, trying new things, or learning new skills.  For today’s post, we have documented for you one of our shared adventures – our foray into the world of jewelry making, the results of which were fantastic!  One of the items on Camilla’s wishlist while here was to craft a video tutorial together.  So luckily, we were able to squeeze that in (accompanied by much giddy giggling) right before she left, and share with you how we made a beautiful and EASY pair of earrings using tools from Sizzix and Vintaj.

EasyVintajEarringsHere is the video tutorial which we  have prepared for you.

Hope you enjoy it, and that, if you are a newbie, it encourages you to give jewelry-making a try.  After this experience, I feel confident and excited to craft more handmade jewelry!

  1. Camilla
You did a awesome job creating those earring with your Aunt Vivian. I just got this Sizzix machine and have been nervous about using it. You made it look very simple and now I think I’ll have to go into my room and create earrings for my daughter. Sounds like you had a super time on your vacation. Hope you get to come back soon and play in her studio and do another tutorial. Great job.

  2. Wonderful earrings. Camilla, you are a natural! Great job on the video and the earrings. Sounds like you had a really fun visit with Aunt Vivian! Looking forward to your next visit and video.

  3. Wow. These look like “high-end” jewelry store earrings. Camilla, you did a fabulous job, both on the earrings and the video.

  4. Camilla, you are a charming young lady! I know where you get it from. So glad you and Vivian had such a great time together.
