Hello, friends! It’s a special day at my home in the ether – it’s a blog hop! Today the folks at Cardmaker Magazine and Clearsnap have a great lineup of projects to share with you and I hope you will hop along – I’m sure you will soak up loads of inspiration along the way! As for my part, I’ve got a mixed media tag to share with you that primarily uses iZink media from Clearsnap to easily achieve a brilliant blend of hues. If you comment along the way on this hop, you will be in the runnning to win some of this yummy iZink that I”m showcasing today!
Once the piece had dried, I die-cut and embossed it using a beautiful new Sizzix die + embossing folder (see end of post). The raised edges were accentuated using a nice, juicy, Mix’d Media Inx in Black.
This tag was rolled the same way using the Art Wheel, with color that was just a bit diluted with water. The organic patterns were created with dilute iZink and the Rollagraph tool with a “Marbling” insert.
I added some vascular hot glue trails to create the organic feeling that I love in my mixed media projects. For video tutorials on this technique, I have plenty on my YouTube channel.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
