Vivian you mentioned that you love watercoloring and have expensive watercolors. What brand do you like?
Hi Terresa! I have a few different brands, including M. Graham, DaVinci, Holbein, Daniel Smith. I like them all for different reasons. Cheap Joe’s is a great source for watercolor paints, and I often just wait until I see a good sale and then pick some up.
When you using a sketchbook, how do you prevent the watercolors from bleeding through?
If you are referring to the art journal pages, there is almost always dripping, but that is kind of the beauty of art journals. if you are referring to the watercolor block that i use, it is very thick and never bleeds through. i use a rather expensive Arches watercolor block. very worth it, too.
I love your works, I watch your video tutorials almost everyday, and try to make similar stuff, just to learn different techniques. I`ve made some cards using techniques you show, and ( I`m not too modest) I think they`re quite good, even though I had to substitute some of the materials for what I have at home or for what I can prepare myself. I make the texture paste from kitchen ingredients, make my own mists and stuff. I really enjoy reading your page. Greetings from Poland
Oh that is so interesting you make your own media! Do you have a blog? I would love to visit. Thanks for watching my videos – I am so glad you are enjoying them!

Hej Vivian,
Really love your tutorials. Some of them specially the mixed media ones are so beautiful. Your way of explaining the techniques and the deeper thought behind them is heartwarming .
I really hope that you will put some new ones on your site.
I was always just playing with watercolour but had the feeling that I was missing something, that there was a bit more than just paint and paper.
Lots of love from Sweden, Anna
Hello could you tell me what stamp set you used on those beautiful stained glass tags?
I recently viewed your youtube of Himalayan poppies and wonder WHICH of the Scraps of Darkness do you subscribe to each month? There seems to be a couple to choose from.
