Gilded Keepsake Box

I’m still on a kick with shimmer, friends.  Today I have a keepsake box to share and an accompanying video tutorial!

For this project, I got a ton of inspiration from Clearsnap’s February Color Challenge, which has a lot of shimmer in it and combines some of my favorite hues.   I hope you’ll check out the challenge this month and play along.

I used a brand new “Box, Cookie” die from Sizzix/Eileen Hull to construct my box – really easy to put together!

Here’s the view from above…

I used a Sizzix/Brenda Walton “Camellia” die for this “splashed” blossom on top.

There was a lot of play with media for this camellia, and I’m really happy with the results!
