Hi folks! It’s time for a blog hop, y’all!
Check out the Ribbon Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon this month!
Perfect for all your Valentine’s Day projects! I remember my Mom used to give me a goodie for Valentines, from as far back as I can remember all the way past college. That little reminder of her love for me always warmed my heart. Now that my circumstances have pushed my passions to the forefront of my life (major gratitude for that!) and I have the time to do it, I think I’m going to start returning some goodie love to my momma on this very special day.
For today’s hop, I used two of the fibers in this month’s assortment and went back to one of my favorite Prima collections – “Madeline.” While waiting for all the new papers to be revealed at CHA, I’ve been revisiting old papers with fresh eyes and having a ball. For my first card, I used the beautiful light pink satin (fourth from the left in the assortment).
This card came together rather quickly because I enlisted the help of my trusty paper punches.
For my second card, I used the delicate trim (second from the left).
And stuck with my punches for quick embellishments and interest.
Enjoy the hop, friends! I’m looking forward to sitting down with a nice cuppa and browsing all the inspiration!
Next talented designer on the hop is Misty! Here is the hop order below just in case you get lost while hopping!

Very pretty cards!
I have never sent a reply before but felt compelled to today for 2 reasons:1- Love, love the 2 cards and 2-You touched my heart when you talked about showing your mother some love.I lost my 92 year old mother in November and miss her dearly. When you lose a loved one(I also lost my husband of 39 years 3 years ago in November) you always think of things you wish you had or had not done. But they both knew I loved them dearly. So keep showing your Mom lots of love!
Oh Lynne, I’m so sorry for your losses. I’m sure your heart still aches for them, and my healing thoughts go out to you. Thanks for your words – yes I love my momma like nobody’s business. We speak every day and she has my paintings all over her home. She’s getting older, and I’m trying to figure out how to get in more time with her. We just discovered facetime on the ipad, thanks to hubbie, so I get to see her face just about every day.
Beautiful cards! I’ll have to go shopping to see if I can find some of the “Madeline” paper – my 12 year old great granddaughter is “Madalynn” and I’d love to use some of that paper for her Valentine!
