Hard Core Crop – Let’s All Play Along!!!

Whether this is your first time or you are a returning Hard Core Cropper, PLEASE make sure you head over to the Core blog for a full list of rules HERE. They are pretty straight forward..you must use Core visibly on your projects, upload using the linky at the bottom of this post by midnight November 10th EST, and follow my challenge rules but please make sure you follow the rules and check them out on the Core blog. THE CHALLENGE
My challenge is all about  gratitude cards or layouts about gratitude in which you use an autumn color palette.  Let’s craft some cards together which we can promptly mail off to loved ones!   They can be for Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it) or to thank someone special with a card perfectly suited for my absolutely favorite season of the year.  If you are a layout person, feel free to do a layout instead, or in addition!

My challenge is easy – 1) feature Core’dinations Cardstock on your gratitude card/layout and 2) use an autumn palette of colors.

Just in case you need some inspiration for this challenge, I crafted this card for the event!

A single Darice embossing folder helped me integrate some nice leafy texture for each Core’dinations “Shattered” Collection panel.  In this case, I found that debossing gave a more dramatic effect.

I haven’t gotten enough of this Sizzix Thinlit die – LURVE.

I didn’t feel so much like adding another element just for my sentiment, nor did I want to obscure the dry embossing, so I stamped “merci” all over the birds.

A little stitching, some buttons, plus a bit of distress ink for a handsome autumn card!  I’m so looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the challenge!
